New England Colleges Are Some of The Famous Colleges In The World

Heard of Harvard College? Yes the most famous and renowned college for higher learning in the United States. It was found in Cambridge, Massachusetts to train preachers in 1636. There are many such famous colleges some of the oldest institutions that are there in New England. At the pre level, New England colleges are a home to a number of American independent schools which are also known as private schools.

New England colleges that are well known, to name a few are Yale University that was founded in Old Saybrook, Connecticut, 1701 and was awarded nations first doctoral degree in 1861. Another famous and renowned New England Colleges is the Brown University, which was founded in Providence, Rhode Island in 1764, is the first college to accept students from all religious affiliations. It is the seventh oldest institution of higher learning.

The University of Vermont is the fifth oldest university of New England. Dartmouth College was founded in Hanover, New Hampshire with a mission to educating the local American Indian population as well as the English youth. It was founded in the year 1769. All these are the famous New England Colleges which have come a long way and are the best colleges for higher studies.

New England Colleges not only have famous colleges for higher studies but also some of the famous colleges that teach art. Art colleges in New England are the famous colleges throughout the world. The Massachusetts College of Art and Design also known as MassArt, was the first art college in the United States to award artistic degree. This college was found in 1873.

New England Colleges are monitored by New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC). Students from all over the world come and study in New England Colleges. The degrees attained from the New England colleges are recognized all over the world and students are well placed in their respective jobs and careers.

The learning programs are well researched and designed to give the student an edge over all the other competitors. The colleges take it on them to keep in touch with all their students and give them the opportunity to upgrade their skills from time to time.

What are some good Art colleges in califonia that has Animation for your major?
I am looking for some schools that are pretty good. I know some Colleges that doesn’t require SAT tests. Such as AI (Art institute, and Gnomon (but this college doesn’t give batchlers degree just a certificate.) And the school helps out your major and helps you find a job.

No crap.. please. I am pretty sure i can do this and i have been told that i can do very good from the person in the sony, pixar and Blizzard entertainment.

I’m a junior, who is just beginning to look into colleges. While I’m not at all sure what I want to focus on in college, one of my interests is in performing arts (particularly drama and musical theatre performing) and I was wondering what small liberal arts colleges were strong in this area…
I’m currently looking mostly on the East Coast, but please give me answers from where ever; place doesn’t matter to me as much as the school itself…

World of Wearable Art in New Zealand. Some of the 2010 Winning entries and the stories behind them.

The Public Affairs Section at the United States Embassy in Wellington, New Zealand, hosted 8 American and 2 British finalists who were visiting Wellington for the World of Wearable Art Awards. Locally known as "WOW’ this event is an annual fashion design completion and show that attracts entrants for all over the world. The event runs over 8 nights and is seen by 15,000 people. Last year’s Supreme Winner was American designer David Walker from Alaska. Three artists provided a presentation of their designs and talked about their work processes and inspirations to an audience of students and lecturers from three design colleges. The students and artists were able to network and share their work and the visitors presentation provided inspiration to the students.

David Walker: 2010 Commercial Gen-i Creative Excellence Section: Theme ‘Art of Light’.

David Walker: David is from Alaska and is a highly skilled carpenter / builder who has been interested in pursuing the characteristics and capabilities of what can be designed in wood. He has been a regular finalist in the WOW Awards and won the Supreme Award last year.

Sean Purucker – 2010 Winner WETA Award.

Sean Purucker lives in California and studied Industrial Design Technology at The Art Institute of Seattle. In 2008 Sean was the winner of the World of Wearable Art WOW! Factor Award.

Richelle Rudeen – Educated in New York and Bournemouth – 2010 Winner Tourism New Zealand Avant Garde Section: Theme: Inspired by the Circus.
