    This is an awesome shot. The sky color makes it look like the Disney Corporation built a park on Mars!

    The colors are bright and the water reflects them, which adds to the total impact that this image has; however, a tighter crop might be best. The top of the castle against the sky is a striking effect.

    Are you kidding me?! Ha! That’s all I could say to myself when I saw this. WOW!!! I’m stunned! (in a good way). I’d say you got pretty damn lucky with those colors there… is that real?

    Thanks everyone for the compliments and feedback… I appreciate it! So in the original jpeg the sky had an orange tint to it but not that much. By using gamma adjustment, I made several "fake" exposures and saved probably 7-10 seperate jpegs and loaded them into Dynamic-Photo HDR and tone mapped the image. This brought out the orange in the sky (and water) a lot. Then, what really made the colors pop was auto white balance – selecting the railing and monorail as whites. Yeah, the orange sky is a little overdone, but I like the effect.

    Thanks imtigger2! Dynamic-Photo HDR works great for me… if you decide to purchase it – read the .pdf owner’s manual because it clears up some things…

    Kudos for working the image and using HDR. Excellent choice of a tool. Personal taste would have lighten up the reflection or toned it down a bit. It blends too much into the sky for my taste.

    [imtigger] If you use OSX, try Bracketeer for HDR. It is cheap and works well.

    Thanks wybnormal, the original jpeg was really pretty crappy… I had the exposure compensation set way low on accident – so HDR really saved this photo!
