Is a university ‘fine arts’ course open to abstract work?
I’m a mostly abstract artist interested in studying art at university, however, most of the courses that I can find are called ‘fine arts’ – and I’m wondering if abstract art will be accepted for this? Thanks for any information you can give me.

Absolutely!! I have an undergraduate degree from a university fine arts program and I am an abstract artist. You will still learn fundamental and traditional techniques but you can be abstract and creative in that coordination. Please take a look at my website to see the work I have done, all of which has been created while in school or has evolved from my art education. www.artbybekah.com
