This is the forth or fifth time in several months that I have watched this video. I am really feeling like you once did.
I have been holding on for as long as I can, but this job is simply draining every creative juice that remains… one day at a time. I have been brainstorming on various ideas and think that I have one that will take people’s minds of their sucky corporate jobs for a sec and be distracted.

Ali, I’m NEW to the Etsy world- and YouTube as well. I just left my job a couple weeks ago, right before the holidays and my family is going through hard times.

It gives us hope that it IS possible to make a living doing what we love and not make money for some CEO that already makes millions.
It’s not a LOT of money but it’s just enough to get me by, just like you said. And hopefully after I start making a profit (all my income now is going towards paying my parents for loaning me money to start my shop) and am able to live somewhat comfortably. Thanks for sharing your story! You’re such an inspiration to beginners like me

Aw this almost made me tear up. I’ve always wondered how people can make a living off of etsy, not just pulling in extra spending money next to their ‘real’ job, but to make a living, using the money to pay bills and buy clothes and groceries and make car payments. I’m disabled so I really can’t work a ‘real’ day job and Etsy has been a lifesaver for me. I don’t feel so useless anymore. I’m able to do something that I LOVE and get paid for it.
You, Ali, are absolutely amazing! I cannot even begin to express how proud I am of you and how happy I am that you “saw the light” and decided to live for YOU and YOU only! I could stand to take a page from your book!
