Vital 5 Productions is awarding one random person to create a video of someone dancing like they are being shot at. Let your imagination go wild and make a video. Open to all people of all skill levels, ages, and countries. All submissions will be exhibited in Seattle at the 2009 Bumbershoot Arts Festival.

Joanna Chapman-Smith is a young woman who has been making waves on the folk scene since 2002. She and her band, The End Tree, used their Small Arts Grant to produce a theatrical show for which they created new instruments and composed new material.

WATERVILLE — The Waterville Community Fund Advisory Committee is seeking grant applicants. Applicants should be nonprofit groups that support the Waterville community through civic improvements, education, arts, culture, health and human services, conservation and the environment.
