How long does it take to hear news about Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) acceptance?
I applied for Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) and my checklist online indicates that they have received everything already. I’m an international student and i need to confirm my application status in Singapore too cos i’ve been accepted and i have a deadline to meet.
Any idea how long they take before i hear news of whether my application made it through?

Admission and issuance of the I-20, the form you’ll need to apply for a student visa, takes at least 5 days at most colleges. If you offer to pay for shipping, you can get the college to send your materials by DHL, FEDEX or other speedy air delivery service.
You can go to http://www.college-scholarships.com to get the SCAD email address and contact the SCAD admissions of international affairs office to arrange for speedy shipping. Then, make an appointment at the U.S. Embassy as soon as you receive your admission letter and I-20 form.

It can take several weeks. Best to call them directly and get someone to personally assess where you stand, and get a rough decision date from them if a decision has not yet been made.
