Monsoon woes spoil rice research
As part of the JICA project, nearly 30-km of the existing two main stormwater drains and connecting drains in the city will be rehabilitated or newly constructed under the project for improvement in the drainage facilities. In the process, 34 pumping channels and six dumping yards will be constructed.

Inn at Long Pond celebrates grand opening
GREENWOOD LAKE – On June 15, Town of Warwick Supervisor Michael Sweeton, Greenwood Lake Mayor Barbara Moore, Greenwood Lake Merchant Guild representative Barney Lopilato and members of the Warwick Valley Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors joined Keith and Eileen Barclay for the grand opening of their new restaurant, The Inn at Long Pond.
