Wayne Norton is making a quantum shift; from commercial to fine art photograper. His long-time love affair with the desert, and the pull to document the changing landscape of his childhood home of rural Iowa, lead him to create haunting B/W still lifes with desert detritus, and colorful, but lonely landscapes of the rapidly disappearing culture in rural Iowa. The landscapes are printed as large as 22″x60″ using the latest digital technology. Video Rating: 5 / 5
www.silberstudios.tv Fine art photographer Huntington Witherill joins us today on the Marc Silber show to share tips about photography and his views on the process as a whole. He reminds us that it is important to focus on the process of being the photographer rather than constantly looking to get the next photograph or image. A passion for the medium is one of the most important components—being engaged and passionate about anything takes a lot of patience, persistence and hard work. Huntington also advises people to get rid of preconceptions when going out to a location to shoot photos. It’s easy to carry a preconceived idea when you’re going to a specific place, but you might happen upon something completely different that creates an amazing photo. As for practical tips, he believes that 2D design classes are helpful for visualizing composition for photographs. Learning how to arrange forms and lines is useful for creating balance and a sense of purpose in a photograph.

ClevverTV has the full report next. Hello everyone. I’m Joslyn Davis with news on how two of Fox’s biggest hit shows are crossing over to bring us a TV combination unlike any other! The Simpsons kicks of it’s 22nd season this year – probably older than most of you watching, but this show has been around for so long for good reason. It’s always fresh, current, and most importantly funny. So how do show-makers plan to up the anty this year? Well, they’ve called upon their network family members from Glee to make guest star roles on the show. In the first episode clip that’s out rigth now, we see Lisa heading to arts camp, and when she arrives she can’t seem to find anyone. That is until two semi-crazy masked people jump out from one of the cabins. And guess who they just so happen to be – oh no biggie, just Lea Michele, Cory Monteith and Amber Riley. Lisa is initially scared of course, but when Lea Michele’s character immediately starts singing things lighten up. What ensues is a great edition of “Good Vibrations.” Immediately the clip turns into a choreographed sequence – ala Glee. The Glee-clubbers guest-starring on the Simpsons will be fellow campers and in true arts camp fashion, You can expect lots of singing, even Lisa is joining in. Wow -so what do you guys think of this one? Seems like shows are really … Video Rating: 4 / 5
